Key Responsibilities

  • Setting up and operating CNC lathes, mills and routers in line with work orders and engineering drawings
  • Loading raw materials and tooling, ensuring correct alignment and setup
  • Monitoring machine performance and adjusting to maintain accuracy and productivity
  • Carrying out tooling changes, machine setups and program adjustments as required
  • Conducting self-inspection using calipers, micrometers, gauges and other measuring equipment
  • Completing in process checks and documenting results accurately
  • Working collaboratively with the wider production team to meet output targets
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Reporting machine faults, maintenance needs or production concerns promptly
