Field-based within the North of the UK, with occasional travel to the South UK and Ireland. Up to 35k depending on experience.

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled and professional On-Site Calibration Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for carrying out calibration services at customer sites across the UK (typically no further South than the Midlands). This role is vital in ensuring our calibrations are performed with accuracy, traceability, and efficiency, following established procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site calibration services in accordance with defined procedures and industry standards
  • Ensure traceability of all measured variables to national and international standards
  • Issue accurate and timely calibration certificates
  • Represent the company professionally at all times while on customer sites
  • Maintain and verify the calibration status of all measuring equipment used
  • Plan and manage on-site work to maximise efficiency and minimise costs
  • Comply with Health & Safety requirements both on customer sites and within the company
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure high levels of service delivery

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a calibration or instrumentation technician role is required
  • A strong understanding of measurement principles and calibration techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Willingness to travel across the UK
  • Full UK driving licence required
