Key Responsibilities- Analyse HR data (absence, turnover, succession) to identify trends and support improvement initiatives.
- Advise managers and employees on HR policy and UK employment law, with support from external HR consultants.
- Support employee relations and confidently managing cases.
- Coordinate training, development and compliance.
- Manage end-to-end HR administration: contracts, inductions, letters, job descriptions and exit interviews.
- Maintain internal communication channels such as noticeboards and company announcements.
- Oversee attendance processes and escalate issues when required.
- Conduct HR compliance audits (right to work, DVLA, GDPR).
- Act as Breathe HR system administrator and support system improvements.
- Support recruitment processes including adverts, interview packs and first-stage interviews.
- Build strong working relationships across all levels.
- Maintain CPD through CIPD events and legal updates.
- Minimum 2 years experience as an HR Advisor.
- CIPD Level 5 qualified.
- Strong knowledge of HR practice and UK employment law.
- Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
- Strong communicator, confident influencing at all levels.
- Advanced IT skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Logical, solutions-focused, resilient, and able to handle complex situations.
