About The Role:

As an HR Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting our HR team to deliver high-quality HR services to a wide range of clients. This role is designed for someone starting their career in Human Resources who is eager to learn, proactive, organised and enthusiastic about developing strong HR foundations. You will work towards a recognised HR qualification while gaining hands-on experience in HR administration, employee lifecycle processes and client support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain HR records, databases and digital filing systems for clients.
  • Prepare HR documents such as contracts of employment, contract amendments, pay increase letters, leavers letters.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of HR templates, trackers and documentation.
  • Support the HR team with client queries, scheduling meetings and preparing materials.
  • Help manage shared inboxes, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Support the Recruitment team by managing job boards, liaising with candidates to arrange interviews, early-stage interviewing and conducting reference checks.
  • Be proactive in providing an exceptional service to our clients, knowing that we interpret their needs and proactively deliver upon them.
  • Complete apprenticeship assignments and attend required training sessions.
  • Stay up to date with HR legislation, best practice and industry updates.
  • Maintain a lot of learning activities and proactively seek opportunities for development.

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, curious, and willing to learn.
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
