We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager who will lead the planning, implementation and continual improvement of the company’s quality strategy, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements. Responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System and managing internal audits across two UK sites, the role supports business efficiency, growth and profitability while delivering high standards of service to internal stakeholders and external customers. This is a key position in a highly regulated environment, involving customer regulatory support and investigation of quality issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Management: Implement and maintain a compliant quality monitoring system aligned with ISO 9001 / EN9100 / EN9120 standards.
  • Quality Systems: Ensure effective investigation of audit findings, root cause analysis, and timely corrective/preventive actions, with accurate record-keeping.
  • Auditing: Develop and run an internal audit programme across both UK sites to ensure regulatory compliance and provide assurance to leadership.
  • Technical Data: Maintain up-to-date, accurate documentation in line with ISO, REACH, and COSHH requirements.
  • Meetings: Contribute to cross-functional meetings and support operational and strategic quality improvements.
  • Customer Support: Complete quality questionnaires and advise on regulations (e.g. ITAR, SPIRE, REACH, RoHS).
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean/Six Sigma practices to improve processes and resolve issues.
  • Support additional tasks as requested by the Operations Manager.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
  • Take reasonable care of personal and others’ health and safety.
  • Follow all quality procedures, report deviations, complete corrective actions, and recommend improvements.
What You’ll Bring
  • Qualified in ISO 9001:2015, with knowledge of EN9100/EN9120 standards.
  • Trained Internal Auditor (preferably ISO 9001) with hands-on auditing experience.
  • Strong understanding of quality methodologies such as 8D problem solving.
  • Proficient IT skills, including experience with ERP systems (e.g. D365, SAP, AP modules).
  • Working knowledge of UK/EU REACH regulations.
  • Experience managing key customer and supplier relationships.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • A calm, reliable approach in a fast-paced working environment.
