Purpose of the role
Build relationships. Create opportunities. Make an impact. We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Customer Success & Account Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships while also spotting new business opportunities.
As the primary point of contact for a portfolio of business and individual clients, you'll ensure our customers receive an outstanding experience from day one. Alongside managing existing relationships and handling inbound enquiries, you'll play an important role in supporting business growth through referrals, cross-selling, and new business development.
Working closely with our Business Development Manager, you'll help grow our commercial pipeline by nurturing leads, identifying opportunities, and confidently reaching out to prospective clients, including an element of outbound cold calling.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing relationships with a portfolio of business and individual clients, becoming their trusted point of contact.
- Delivering an excellent customer experience by responding to enquiries and providing ongoing support.
- Contacting new customer sign-ups to introduce our services and encourage referrals.
- Following up on inbound enquiries and converting interest into new business opportunities.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell relevant services to existing clients.
- Making outbound calls to prospective business clients to generate new opportunities.
- Building and maintaining contact lists through marketing campaigns, networking, and market research.
- Growing our presence on LinkedIn through networking, direct messaging, and engaging content.
- Supporting local marketing initiatives, including community leafleting days and following up with nearby businesses.
- Researching and targeting key corporate accounts, local authorities, and larger organisations.
- Identifying decision-makers and building relationships with the right contacts to create future opportunities.
- Working closely with the Business Development Manager to support sales activity and achieve team objectives.
