Role Overview
You will support experienced kitchen teams across a variety of event venues—including conferences, weddings, sporting events, corporate hospitality and large‑scale functions—producing high‑quality fresh food.
The role suits chefs who enjoy varied kitchens, fast‑paced service and flexible working while maintaining high culinary standards.
Responsibilities
- Support kitchen teams at events across Worcester during the summer season and beyond.
- Produce high‑quality fresh food during conferences, banqueting and other functions.
- Work calmly during busy services and maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent professional chef experience in a commercial kitchen.
- Experience as a Chef de Partie, Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef.
- Previous experience in events, conferences & banqueting, hotel or large‑volume catering.
- Strong fresh‑food cooking skills.
- Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety.
- Ability to work calmly during busy services.
- Reliability with excellent time‑keeping.
- Own transport is highly desirable due to multiple venues and some rural locations.
