We're looking for an experienced, adaptable Mobile Relief Chef to cover kitchens across Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding area. You'll step in to cover holidays, sickness and busy periods, making sure each kitchen keeps running smoothly. You choose when you work, and you get variety from one shift to the next. What you'll be doing
- Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality meals at a range of client sites
- Settling into new kitchens quickly and working with existing teams
- Following set menus, recipes and portion controls
- Catering for special dietary needs and allergens
- Keeping food safety, hygiene and health and safety standards high
- Helping with stock rotation, ordering and kitchen paperwork when needed
Previous chef experience, ideally in contract catering, education or private healthcare - Confidence working on your own and adapting to different kitchens and teams
- Good knowledge of food safety and allergen management
- Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate or above (preferred)
- Reliable, flexible and well organised
- A full driving licence and your own transport would be a big advantage, as sites vary
£16 - £18 per hour, depending on experience - Holiday pay on every hour you work
