We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our client at this stunning luxury hotel. Set in the idyllic Scottish Highlands, this tranquil hotel features a rosette restaurant as well as catering for weddings, events and private functions.

Responsibilities

  • Working with and alongside the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen
  • Take full responsibility for the food and kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef including rotas, ordering and paperwork
  • Support with leading, motivating and inspiring the kitchen team as well as encouraging creativity

Qualifications

  • A strong Sous Chef with proven work history
  • Ideally previous experience within a rosette kitchen and/or min 4* hotel
  • Genuine passion for food, ingredients and customer service
  • Eye for detail and presentation
  • A proactive person, capable of motivating a team and working as part of
