We’re recruiting on behalf of a highly respected hospitality operation based in Tetbury, for an experienced Sous Chef to support the day-to-day running of a quality-led kitchen. This is a unique opportunity to work within an organisation driven by sustainability, provenance, and exceptional standards, producing food that reflects seasonality, local sourcing, and thoughtful execution.

Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
- Lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
- Maintain high food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Assist with menu delivery, costing, and stock control
- Support rota planning and wage control
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
- Train and support junior members of the team
- Work closely with FOH to ensure smooth service

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior CDP ready to step up
- Background in fresh food, quality-led kitchens
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Confidence managing stock, rotas, and compliance
