A fantastic Group Wedding and Event Sales job in Woodbridge (Suffolk) paying a package of approx. £33,000 is available, working across two luxury venues a short distance from each other. These are two of the region's leading destinations for weddings, private celebrations and events. Both venues are known for memorable experiences, beautiful surroundings and high standards of service.

This is a sales-led role for someone who knows how to convert enquiries, create excitement, close business and manage a strong pipeline. You must already have experience selling weddings and/or events and be confident handling high-value enquiries with professionalism, pace and attention to detail.

  • Base salary of £28,000
  • Excellent commission/bonus structure achievable from both venues; approximately around £5,000 annually based on performance.

  • Mix of early and late shifts, such as 9am-5pm / 12pm-8pm.
  • Working in a team of 6 within the Sales Office who can help you settle in quickly.

Job Overview
  • Sales & Conversion
    • Respond to enquiries via phone, email and web channels.
    • Qualify leads, conduct venue tours and prepare proposals.
    • Convert bookings and achieve sales targets.
    • Maintain CRM records and support pipeline reviews.
  • Event Planning
    • Manage events from contract through to operational handover.
    • Build strong client relationships throughout the planning journey.
    • Lead planning meetings, site visits and event documentation.
    • Support key events where required.
  • Hosting & Guest Experience
    • Host tasting events, showcases, open days and launch events.
    • Deliver an exceptional client experience at every touchpoint.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Work closely with sales and operational teams to ensure seamless delivery.
    • Participate in forecasts, meetings and reporting.
    • Identify and drive upselling opportunities across accommodation, spa and guest enhancements.
Experience Requirements
  • Experience in sales & planning within a wedding venue, hotel or hospitality events venue is essential. (This could also be within a Wedding or Events Manager position).
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Access to your own vehicle is required due to travel between the two venues.
