A fantastic job vacancy of Group Sales Manager has become available in Suffolk overseeing two stunning venues in Woodbridge and Sutton. These venues offer far more than weddings alone. The focus is about leadership, proactive selling, building relationships, shaping demand, and leading a high-performing team to deliver sustained growth.

Role Overview
- Research and explore with the development of software and AI systems to move the sales process forward
- Maximising revenue and looking for new potential revenue streams
- Collaborate with the groups Head Office in the design and development of specific experiences to be made available to potential clients
- Involvement in the development of the Group brand
- Maximise Yield & Conversion
- Champion premium products, experiences and exclusive-use opportunities, ensuring every enquiry is strategically qualified, priced and converted to maximise value, margin and guest experience
- Lead, Manage & Motivate the Sales Team
- Take full ownership of sales team performance, coaching and accountability
- Run regular, focused group sales meetings, embed high standards, sharpen consultative selling skills and create a culture where targets are clearly owned and consistently delivered
- Oversee Pipeline, Prediction Sheet & Forecasting
- Maintain absolute ownership of the sales pipeline and prediction sheet, ensuring it is live, accurate and credible always
- Drive pipeline discipline, stage accuracy and probability weighting to produce reliable forecasts
- Proactively Drive New Business
- Actively source, shape and convert new opportunities through relationship-led selling, partnerships, outbound outreach and structured pipeline development
- Manage the delivery of all Reporting & Commercial Insights
- Provide clear, timely and accurate reporting to senior leadership, translating CRM and PMS data into meaningful insight, actions and decisions
- Work Cross-Functionally
- Collaborate closely with operations, marketing and leadership teams to ensure what is sold is deliverable, profitable and aligned with brand standards across both venues
Candidate Criteria

- Proven success in consultative, target driven sales environments
- Strong team leadership and performance management experience
- A confident, commercial mindset with the ability to influence, negotiate and close
- High levels of ownership, accountability and drive; taking responsibility for outcomes, not just activity
