We are looking for a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our growing events catering company on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the culinary operations for a diverse portfolio of events including corporate functions, private celebrations, brand activations, and large-scale productions. As Executive Chef, you will play a key role in shaping our culinary offering, ensuring exceptional food quality and consistency across all events while leading and developing a skilled kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of seasonal and event-specific menus
- Design bespoke menus tailored to client briefs and event concepts
- Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, consistency, and efficiency
- Manage food costings, budgets, and supplier relationships to meet profitability targets
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen teams, including full-time chefs and freelance staff
- Work closely with sales, operations, and event teams to ensure seamless event delivery
- Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, flavour, and service across all events
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control, minimising waste and maximising efficiency
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or senior Head Chef within events catering, hospitality, or high-volume kitchens
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience delivering high-end and large-scale events
- Excellent knowledge of modern British and international cuisines
- Strong understanding of food costing, budgeting, and supplier management
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
- Flexible approach to working evenings, weekends, and across multiple event locations
