About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a private school in Oxford. You will run your own section and help prepare fresh, high-quality meals for pupils and staff, with no evenings or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Run your section and cook to a consistently high standard
- Prepare fresh, varied menus for pupils and staff
- Follow food hygiene, allergen and health and safety procedures
- Help with stock, deliveries and keeping the kitchen clean
- Support the Head Chef and work well in a busy, friendly team
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or a strong Commis ready to step up
- Good knowledge of food safety and allergens
- Food hygiene certificate (Level 2 or above) preferred
- Organised, reliable and able to work under pressure
- Enhanced DBS certificate required
