Gardener

Gardener required for a beautiful private Country Estate on the Oxon/Berks borders. An exciting opportunity to join a knowledgeable and friendly team, who are keen to share their expertise to support your professional development. Our client invests heavily in their team, garden and equipment.\\n\\nThis role is full time, the hours are 8.00 am until 4.30 pm Monday to Friday.\\n\\nIf you are someone either looking for their next horticultural role, ideally qualified to RHS level 2, or, who can display, and has a natural aptitude for gardening with a passion for plants and horticulture.\\n\\nAs a key member of the gardening team, you will also play a pivotal role in the gardens and wider estate.\\n\\nKey accountabilities:\\n\\n * Involved in maintaining and developing the garden, working alongside the Head Gardener.\\n\\n * Take responsibility in maintaining high standards of presentation, horticultural development and maintaining garden infrastructure\\n\\n * Ensure buildings and tools are kept tidy and well maintained\\n\\n * Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures, legislation and regulations.\\n\\nIdeally, we are looking for someone with the following skills:\\n\\n * Qualified to RHS level 2 or a desire to learn and an aptitude for gardening\\n\\n * Proficient with a range of garden machinery and tractor driving (full training will be given)\\n\\n * First aid certificate\\n\\n * PA 1 AND PA 6 spraying\\n\\nWe are open to applications from anyone who can demonstrate a genuine interest in gardening, there is also the opportunity, to attend college to complete professional horticultural qualifications.
