You’ll handle a broad and interesting caseload of residential property matters from instruction to completion, while working in an environment that combines professional standards with a friendly team culture.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Running your own residential conveyancing caseload from start to finish
  • Dealing with freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, shared ownership, re-mortgages and new build matters
  • Speaking with clients in person, by phone and in writing
  • Providing clear, practical and responsive legal advice
  • Preparing and approving contracts, transfer deeds and other legal documents
  • Keeping files organised and maintained to a high professional standard
  • Managing your diary and handling enquiries and quotations efficiently
  • Building relationships with clients and contacts to support new business opportunities
  • Staying up to date with legal developments and maintaining competence in line with SRA requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • A qualified solicitor with experience in residential property
  • Solid knowledge of conveyancing law and practice
  • Familiarity with CQS
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • A confident, professional and approachable manner
  • The ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to review and advise on legal documents effectively
