About the Role
As Team Leader, you will guide and support a dedicated staff team, ensuring the home provides a safe, nurturing, child-centred environment. You’ll lead shifts, mentor staff, and uphold the highest standards of safeguarding, OFSTED compliance, and therapeutic care.
This role suits someone with experience in:
- Children’s Residential Homes
- EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties)
- Young People’s Services
- Supported Living for Children & Young People
- OFSTED-regulated care
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and motivate your team with consistency and compassion
- Ensure high-quality care aligned with OFSTED regulations and safeguarding standards
- Build trusted relationships with young people, families, social workers and external agencies
- Champion best practice in care planning, risk management and reporting
- Promote a positive, stable, homely environment where young people can thrive

What You’ll Need
- Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential
- Experience working in a Children’s Residential Home
- Strong understanding of OFSTED standards, safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
- A driving licence is strongly preferred
