We're recruiting a skilled Legal Secretary to support a busy Commercial Conveyancing team. This is a full-time, permanent role split across Coventry and Kenilworth, providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support including audio typing, document production, and case management (Tikit).

Key responsibilities:

  • Audio and copy typing; drafting letters, emails and legal documents
  • Emailing, photocopying, scanning and file management
  • Complete forms and draft documents (with supervision)
  • Use electronic search systems and submit applications to the Land Registry
  • Open and progress matters on Tikit, following file procedures and updating checklists
  • Support AML and client due diligence (scan ID to Tikit; electronic verification)
  • Prepare completion statements, invoices and transfer slips
  • Liaise with clients and professional contacts by phone and in person; arrange appointments
  • Provide reception cover when required and support wider team administration

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary / Commercial/ Conveyancing Secretary (commercial conveyancing preferred)
  • Strong audio typing and document production skills
  • Excellent IT skills and confidence using case management systems (Tikit desirable)
  • Understanding of conveyancing procedures and legal administration
  • Professional, confident communication with clients and business contacts
  • Organised, accurate and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy team
