HR Careers & Nationwide Recruitment Service (NRS) is on the lookout for a REGIONAL CARE HOME TRAINER, to be based remotely in WALES. This is a PERMANENT, FULL-TIME role. The salary is approximately £40k, which includes a £35k base and a £5k car allowance. The position comes with an array of excellent benefits, such as a pension scheme, training opportunities, and access to an online GP, among others. We are excited to announce an opportunity for a care home trainer who will work from home, serving the southwest region. The job entails providing health and social care training across care and nursing homes in Cardiff, Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales. A car is essential for travel to various sites and for transporting training materials. The trainer will organize a flexible schedule of workshops and training/coaching sessions, ensuring high-quality learning and development for our internal stakeholders and staff. The role involves travel to multiple locations and requires experience in residential care, nursing homes, community care, and related fields. Primary duties include monitoring, coaching, and supporting specialist in-house L&D colleagues, such as Safer People Handling Coaches, and communicating any identified training risks or needs to peers. Candidates should have: – A relevant training qualification, such as PTTLS, CTP, or a comparable award/qualification. – At least an NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or equivalent. – Knowledge of the regulatory framework within the care sector. – Prior training experience, ideally within a healthcare environment. – Experience working within a highly-compliant, CQC-regulated entity. Successful candidates will become part of a leading company and work alongside a team that is both passionate and dedicated. The role is ideal for individuals who have previously held positions such as care home trainer, nursing home trainer, regional trainer, training consultant, training manager, training advisor, Learning and Development advisor, L&D Manager, or similar roles within the care or healthcare sector.
