About the Role:

  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare AND Level 5 in Leadership and Management
  • Experience ideally as a supervisor within an Ofsted Children's Home
  • A driving licence is strongly favourable

What You’ll Need:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care Children & Young Peoples Services (or equivalent)
  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare
  • Proven experience within a children's residential care home - supervisory capacity ideally
  • Strong understanding of OFSTED standards, safeguarding procedures, and regulatory frameworks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with OFSTED regulations and Quality Standards
  • Supervise, mentor, and support your team with consistency and compassion
  • Build trusted relationships with families, local authorities, and external agencies
  • Champion best practices in safeguarding, care planning, and reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain a homely, child-centred environment
