Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for a hands-on role with a dynamic manufacturing business?
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to oversee incoming component inspections and in-process quality evaluations to ensure our standards remain consistently high.
Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled quality evaluations on incoming components, raw materials, and in-process assemblies.
Manage component release procedures, ensuring non-conforming materials are strictly contained and documented.
Raise clear non-conformance reports (NCRs) and collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and logs in line with compliance guidelines.
Calibrate and maintain measuring tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
Support internal and external quality audit activities as required.
Key Requirements Proven experience in a Quality Inspector or Quality Control technician role.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings and specifications.
Practical expertise using standard measuring tools, gauges, and testing equipment to verify dimensions and material properties.
Solid understanding of ISO 9001 quality management standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the business.
A full UK driving licence.
