A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join a thriving conveyancing team. You will manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion, delivering high-quality legal work within a supportive, collaborative environment. This role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, client contact, and handling a broad mix of residential transactions.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Meeting clients in person, over the phone and via correspondence to take instructions and provide advice
- Managing a full caseload of residential property matters, including freehold and leasehold sales/purchases, shared ownership, re-mortgages and new-build transactions
- Progressing files from initial instruction to completion while maintaining excellent service standards
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts and transfer deeds
- Offering clear, timely and practical advice to clients
- Organising, developing and managing your own workload
- Maintaining client files professionally and in line with required standards
- Keeping an effective diary system to ensure smooth progression of matters
- Handling enquiries and preparing quotes
- Building relationships, creating networking opportunities and supporting new business generation
- Staying up to date with changes in property law and completing learning activities required for ongoing competence
