Full-time; Monday to Friday, 8.30-4.30. Travel across Herts/Beds/Bucks from our LU7 0UF base. Salary £35,000-£42,000 DOE plus Company Vehicle for work use.
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join this family business that is enjoying strong business growth. We are Anderton Electrics, a family business based in Dunstable and Tring. For over 17 years we have been providing the highest standards of residential, commercial and industrial electrical services. From EV Installations and EICR's to full rewiring and Security Systems, we approach each project with the same levels of professionalism and service quality that have given us five stars as a Which? Trusted Trader and an average 9.9 on Checkatrade.
This is a new role, driven by increased new and repeat business from our wide variety of clients. You’ll work independently but with full support from the rest of the team who will discuss and confirm client requirements and schedule them for your completion.
The role will include, but not be limited to:
- Installing, maintaining, testing and repairing a wide variety of electrical systems to ensure they operate safely, efficiently and in compliance with regulations.
- Inspecting and testing installations, diagnosing faults, and carrying out repairs or upgrades to ensure systems meet current safety standards.
- Strict adherence to electrical regulations, health and safety procedures, and building codes, as well as the use of specialist tools and testing equipment.
- Troubleshooting issues, maintaining documentation, communicating with clients and ensuring electrical systems remain reliable and compliant throughout their lifecycle.
You’ll bring a full driving licence (up to three points accepted), City & Guilds qualifications, BS7671, CS 2391 & 2392 and experience in all the above areas across a range of customer premises. If you have a First Aid certificate and Asbestos awareness training, then these are desirable. You will be happy working alone with a self-starter drive, showing great customer interaction, and always with the support of the rest of our team. Our Friday, 8.00am team breakfast is always a great opportunity for a catch up on business and social life.
