Overview
Join to apply for the Multi-Unit Team Leader role at H&R Block.
You will provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, leading customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. This role starts with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall and transitions to full-time from January to April, including evenings and weekends as needed. This role is in-person and not remote.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and development for associates across three tax offices
- Deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve office growth objectives
- Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates
- Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders
- Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement
- Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions
- Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns; work with Associate Relations Center as needed
- Build an engaging team environment through training and coaching across all offices
- Prepare associate work schedules and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management across all offices
- Travel between offices as required
- Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment
Your Expertise
- People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates
- Aptitude for executing growth plans and leading toward a growth culture
- Strong decision-making and judgment in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset
- Computer proficiency with MS Office
- Bachelorβs degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns)

Pay Range
The pay range for this position is $15.00 β $40.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. Pay decisions depend on experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location. Eligible associates may participate in incentive plans and benefits as described by policy.
