Using your people management experience and passion for helping people, you\’ll provide leadership to the customer-centric teams in the offices you manage to accelerate their seasonal tax business.Responsibilities Lead three H&R Block tax offices and manage customer‐centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business.Lead the development of associates, deliver outstanding client experiences, and achieve office growth objectives across three offices.Oversee staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders.Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office growth plans and client growth targets.Assist with recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions.Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns with support from the Associate Relations Center.Foster an engaging team environment across all offices through training, coaching, and recognizing contributions.Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates.Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management.Travel between offices as required.Prepare tax returns as needed after successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.Schedule and Work Arrangement Start a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season.From January to April, transition to full-time, including evenings and weekends as needed.In-person work only; this role is not remote.Qualifications and Expertise People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates.Aptitude for executing growth plans and fostering a growth-oriented culture.Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to perform in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.Computer proficiency with MS Office.Bachelor\’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with the equivalent combination of experience.Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course if preparing tax returns.Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location.
