Based near West Malling (Ryarsh, Kent) — projects across London & the South East. £35,000–£40,000 per year, depending on experience.
The short version: We need an experienced data and fibre engineer who can install to a high standard and run the job — manage the site, talk to clients, and take ownership from first fix through to test results. If you're used to leading installs rather than waiting to be told what's next, this is for you.

What you'll be doing:
- Installing and terminating Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a cabling
- Fibre splicing, termination, and fault finding
- Testing with Fluke kit and producing certified results
- Network cabinet installs, upgrades, and tidy‑ups
- Installing switches, access points, and associated hardware
- Running jobs on site and being the client's point of contact
A bonus if you've also done Paxton Security Systems.
What you'll need:
- Proven experience in data and fibre installation
- The confidence to run jobs independently
- Strong problem‑solving and a genuine can‑do attitude
- Clear communication with clients and the team
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS / ECS card
- Your own tools
- 3+ years running or installing data/fibre projects
Nice to have, not essential: IPAF ticket and an Enhanced DBS.
