Project Sales Manager – Hospitality/Retail Operations
Location: Home based with UK wide travel
Salary: £50-60,000 + bonus + car/allowance + benefits
Our Client is a market leading organisation with an impressive portfolio of B2B customers in multiple sectors.
The business supplies equipment into dealers, resellers, and direct end users across sectors such as hospitality, education, HORECA, healthcare, business and industry, and the public sector. To continue their impressive growth strategy they are now looking for a proactive and technically minded Project Sales Manager to grow national sales through a combination of field visits, telephone activity, and dealer engagement.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on sales professional, someone who enjoys building relationships, developing new customers, and converting opportunities.
The role:
To own plan and build strategies for developing the divisions independent sales growth
To assist in the development of the overall sales plan with senior stakeholders
To prepare forecasts and report KPIs, for use in organisational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning
To provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development whilst working collaboratively across teams
To establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally
To secure new customers with the aim of expanding the revenue by offering additional goods & services
To attend the customer meetings with the aim of building a detailed brief of customers’ commercial requirements
To ensure all projects are entered onto the company’s management system, ensuring all information is accurate, and thereafter maintained throughout the project lifecycle
To work closely with the Design and Delivery team, construct an operational design that meets the specific requirements of the customers brief and business model, and the designs are returned to the customer within the agreed timeframes
To ensure all commercial terms offer medium to long term value for the company’s success
To complete the transition project to Asset Management team, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
The person:
Degree educated
Proven experience in a product sales or business development role within hospitality, education, HORECA, healthcare, or a similar technical environment
Proven track record of managing Key Accounts and contracts
Knowledge of commercial catering equipment and operational design
IT literate
Exceptional customer relationship qualities.
Proven pro-active approach to resolving issues.
Ability to deal with customer at all levels of business.
Excellent presentation skills, written and verbal.
Comfortable travelling extensively across the UK, therefore, requiring a full UK driving license
