Permanent, Full time (47.5 hours) 7am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday

£28,333 - £39,628 (£11.44 - £16 per hour) + overtime paid at time and a half and career training opportunities.

They are seeking a skilled and motivated Drainage Operative to join their dynamic team. You will be working on a variety of projects across Essex and Sussex regions. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and high standards on-site.

About the role:

  • Repairing collapsed or damaged pipelines in areas that are difficult to access through excavation.
  • Position will include CCTV Surveying, high pressure water jetting and patch lining, ambient/UV/LED cure lining and robotic cutting.
  • Performing deep drainage, manhole construction, concreting, block and kerb laying, and excavation work.
  • Carrying out hand digging, heavy lifting, and working in confined spaces.
  • Ensuring site safety and compliance at all times.
  • Undertaking outdoor work, often in challenging conditions.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of vehicles.

Experience and Qualifications:

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a manual role e.g.: drainage, construction or groundworks position.
  • Full UK driving license ideally clean but the client will consider candidates with up to 6 points.

Desirable Qualifications (Training Provided if Needed)

  • HGV 1 or HGV 2 UK License.
  • Confined Spaces.
  • CSCS.
  • EUSR SHEA (Water/Utility).
  • Street works (NRSWA).
  • 360 Excavator.
  • Dumper ticket.
  • Cat and Genny.
