Our client is an international manufacturing business that is grounded in incredible ethics and values. They are growing and seek an exceptional HR Business Partner to manage and support all functions on a fresh food manufacturing site. You will drive the people strategy across the site and influence both leadership and front-line teams to adopt coaching styles that maximise potential. This is a true partnering role alongside managing an ER caseload and supporting the projects agenda. You will have an HR advisor in your team to support people success at the site.

To be successful in this role you will need to have HRBP experience gained within a manufacturing or logistics organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain an intimate understanding of the client organisations and the business, building effective relationships with internal stakeholders and clients at all levels.
  • Plan and support organisation design to implement new structures, roles and/or processes that create speed and efficiency and support rapidly shifting business demands.
  • Develop and execute a lifecycle approach to talent management focused on forecasting, staffing, onboarding, development, performance, succession planning, talent movement, and retention, leveraging workforce analytics and insights.
  • Manage the temporary workforce agenda.
  • Proactively assess site performance to drive action through a consultative, influenced approach.
  • Coach business leaders on HR policies and processes, including talent planning, learning and development, and performance management to promote engagement and a culture of growth.
  • Deliver a mixed employee relations (ER) agenda and manage wellbeing for the workforce.
  • Assess organisational performance, define talent gaps, and propose HR solutions that support business objectives.
  • Coach leaders on key organisational and management issues.
  • Plan and facilitate work sessions to develop business strategies that support focus, efficiency, speed, and results.
  • Assess training and development needs based on business strategy to close current and future skill gaps.
The person / Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent, and CIPD Level 5 qualification.
  • Proven experience in a human resources partnering role in a progressive business.
  • Experience working in a complex, manufacturing or logistics organisation.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to assimilate new information, including involvement in budget and variable labour/mix headcount planning.
  • Proven ability to interact with all levels in a complex environment and build strong, trusted relationships.
  • Excellent consulting and conflict management skills; experience in ambiguous environments.
  • Experience across HR facets including organisation development, employee relations, succession planning, engagement, talent acquisition, learning & development, and compensation.
  • Ability to function independently in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Demonstrated experience as a trusted advisor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills; ability to identify trends and recommend multiple solutions.
  • Strong organisational and teamwork skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
