This is an excellent opportunity to join our friendly and well-established property team in Newport. You will manage your own caseload with a high degree of autonomy while contributing to a collaborative team focused on delivering excellent client service.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload efficiently to deliver matters promptly and to a high standard.
- Handle files independently while providing clear communication and a positive client experience.
- Support the Head of Department and contribute to the development of less experienced team members.
- Maintain full compliance with CQS, Lexcel, AML, and GDPR requirements to support quality and risk management.
- Progress matters in line with professional standards, internal procedures, and key deadlines to ensure efficient file management.
- Respond promptly to file-related queries and maintain high standards of client care throughout each matter.
- Complete required training on time to support professional development, competency and regulatory compliance.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as required to support the needs of the team and the wider firm.
Essential Skills and Experience
- At least two years’ experience case handling residential property matters.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Confidence working under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Comfortable working independently while also contributing positively as part of a wider team.
- Proactive, supportive, and willing to use initiative in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, client‑focused approach.
- Strong IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office and case‑management systems.
