Overview
CYPMHS West Herts is looking for a Community Team Leader to lead multidisciplinary work across St Albans and Hemmel Hempstead. The role is full‑time 37.5 hours on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- Lead the child and adolescent mental health team, ensuring high quality care for children, young people and families.
- Collaborate with the Operational Manager and Clinical Team Leader to drive service improvement and quality leadership.
- Act as care coordinator, developing and reviewing care plans and monitoring multidisciplinary interventions.
- Maintain personal and professional profile in accordance with Post Registration standards.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification in mental health (e.g., CAHT, AGMHT, MSc Psychology, MSc Mental Health).
- In‑depth understanding of neurodiverse needs and ability to identify reasonable adjustments.
- Good knowledge of Key Performance Indicators and experience managing throughput using CYPMHS transformation model.
- Strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, able to provide therapeutic interventions for families from diverse backgrounds.
