About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Property Handyman to support our property management operations on a full-time, on-call basis. You will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance, inspections, and repair works across a portfolio of residential and/or commercial properties located primarily in and around North London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general property maintenance and repairs (e.g. plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, minor painting & decorating)
- Conduct routine property inspections and report findings
- Diagnose maintenance issues and implement effective solutions
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Ensure all works are completed to a high standard
- Maintain tools, equipment, and the company vehicle in good condition
- Liaise with tenants, contractors, and management in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Proven experience in general property maintenance or handyman role
- Strong ability to diagnose maintenance issues across multiple trades
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
- Must be available to start work immediately or at short notice
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
- Must live within easy reach of North London
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be trustworthy, punctual, and professional
- Enhanced DBS/CRB check required (or willingness to obtain)
