Due to continued and sustained growth, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Glazier / Lead Glazier to join our friendly and professional team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established business that prides itself on quality workmanship and delivering a first-class customer experience. You will work alongside a dedicated team on a variety of glazing projects, primarily within the domestic sector, with occasional commercial and site-based work. For the right candidate, there is a clear pathway to supervisory and managerial responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Replacement of failed double-glazed units within domestic properties
- Surveying customer properties and preparing accurate quotations
- Installation and reglazing of units into uPVC, timber, and aluminium frames, including windows, doors, and roof lights
- Accurate measuring and surveying for replacement glazing, including:
- Leaded designs
- Georgian bars
- Coloured and stained glass
- Part K (Protection from Impact) – safety glass requirements
- Part B (Fire Safety) – appropriate glazing specifications
- Face-pointed rebates
- Timber-beaded windows
- Heritage glazing works
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Glazier
- Strong customer focus and professional approach
- Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Good knowledge of glazing regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and support junior staff
- Full UK driving licence
