Must be flexible for shifts: (40hrs + lots of overtime available)
Our client operates from their state-of-the-art facility in the Wirral, but they also have locations all over the UK and worldwide, specialising in the design and manufacture of components to the aerospace industry.
Desired requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in Laminating across a broad range of products, although further training and support will be provided.
- Should be confident reading and understanding engineering drawings.
- Can follow written and verbal instructions.
- Carrying out work in adherence to technical drawings, internal and external specifications, and laminating instructions as appropriate ensuring accuracy and process documentation.
- Working closely with manufacturing engineering to support the development of standard work instructions and taking part in design for manufacture workshops for new product introduction.
- Identifying, defining, and supporting the introduction of continuous improvement activities in the area of trimming and assembly.
- A practical level qualification e.g. an NVQ, Apprenticeship in manufacturing, engineering, or mechanical.
