Key Responsibilities
- Improve quality, delivery, service performance and cost
- Source, screen, appoint and onboard new UK and overseas suppliers
- Support new product development
- Develop excellent supplier relationships
- Negotiate pricing, contracts and quotations
- Lead supplier meetings
- Contribute to engineering changes and strategic sourcing activities
- Develop and implement commodity purchasing strategies
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Produce MI on all purchasing/supplier activities
- Collaborate with all teams to deliver purchasing objectives
What We're Looking For
A talented Direct Buyer with 3+ years in either manufacturing or engineering environments
CIPS qualified or studying towards CIPS.
