HPC Compressed Air Systems is looking for qualified compressed air service engineers in the Leeds and London areas with a working history in the compressed air industry to be responsible for accomplishing installation, maintenance and repair tasks on HPC and customers' compressed air equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out hands-on preventative and reactive maintenance of compressors and related systems and components.
- Planning and completing maintenance tasks in a cost-effective, timely manner.
- Completing accurately and submitting all Service Reports, Time Sheets and other documents needed for the smooth operation of the Service Department.
- Flexibility in undertaking various tasks to optimise available labour in the Service Department.
- Undertaking training on products when required, both in the UK and Germany.
- Being available for emergency out of hours duty as per the emergency call-out rota.
- Ensuring maintenance tasks are carried out in time.
- Correct service report handling and sign off.
Requirements:
- Field service engineer and compressed air experience.
- Mechanical / electrical experience.
- A formal technical training by means of an HND or HNC, or equivalent is required together with a minimum of two years practical experience working within the compressed air industry.
- A current driving licence is essential.
