The Opportunity

As Senior Analyst - Compliance, Governance and Integrity, you'll play a pivotal role within Business and Wholesale Services (BWS), helping the business understand and respond to regulatory, legislative and industry change. Sitting at the centre of governance, compliance and operational delivery, you'll support the frameworks that enable informed decision-making and effective risk management while contributing to EDF's journey towards An Electric Britain.

This is a hybrid role with flexible working arrangements. You'll be expected to attend our London or Exeter office as required for meetings and collaborative activities, while benefiting from the flexibility to balance office and home working.

This is a visible position offering broad exposure across BWS, Finance, Legal, Retail, Generation and Net Zero Strategy and Policy teams. You'll support leadership reporting, influence governance activity, participate in industry forums and help shape how the business manages compliance, risk and operational integrity in an evolving UK energy market.

Who You Are

We're looking for a Senior Analyst with strong compliance, governance and regulatory experience who can navigate complexity, identify risk and translate detailed requirements into clear business actions.   • Strong knowledge of the UK energy market and regulatory frameworks
  • Sound understanding of industry codes and regulatory requirements, with the ability to interpret and apply these within a business context
  • Experience in governance, compliance or regulatory environments
  • Practical experience working within a regulated setting, including exposure to audits, obligation management and governance frameworks
  • Understanding of risk, controls and compliance frameworks
  • Experience identifying and managing risk while reviewing and strengthening controls
  • Ability to interpret complex information and identify emerging risks and themes
  • Experience communicating regulatory or compliance requirements to a range of audiences
  • Strong organisational skills with experience managing competing priorities and delivering to agreed timescales
  • Experience supporting change while maintaining governance and compliance standards

What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintaining and developing compliance, governance and risk management frameworks across Business and Wholesale Services
  • Monitoring regulatory, legislative and industry code changes and translating them into practical business actions
  • Building relationships with stakeholders to identify, manage and mitigate regulatory risks and opportunities
  • Supporting governance forums, industry working groups and incident management processes
  • Producing reporting and insights that support effective decision-making and continuous improvement
