RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide HSEQ support to the project team
- Undertake HSEQ inspections across the full scope of HW Martin works and provide written reports on all completed inspections
- Undertake accident investigations and follow up on closure of actions including delivering lessons learned
- Undertake internal audits across the full scope of the HW Martin works and provide written reports on all completed audits
- Monitor the closure of open actions and direct the HESQ and Operations teams to ensure that all actions are closed within the set SMART parameters
- Support the HSEQ team in developing period HSEQ reports, both internally and externally
- Undertake trending analysis from all data sources (internal & external audits, inspections, accident investigations) and provide information to the Project HSEQ Lead
- Support checks to ensure that all departments are following approved procedures according to an internal audit programme
- Monitor the health, safety and environmental performance of SZC
- Develop management processes, documentation, and safe systems of work
- Develop and manage project HSEQ Risk and COSHH Assessments
- Co-ordinate and arrange health and safety at work training for staff and HW Martin staff
- Support the Project team in ensuring environmental compliance across the project
EDUCATION
- Cert IOSH
- NEBOSH Construction / General certificate
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
- Internal auditor to ISO45001, ISO14001 or ISO9001
- CSCS MAP (Managers and Professionals)
EXPERIENCE
- Construction experience
- Demonstrable administration skills particularly around data management
- Demonstrable leadership skills around client liaison
- HSEQ experience in a management role
- Portrays enthusiasm, passion, and ambition to learn and develop
- Positive 'can do' attitude
- The ability to liaise with all levels of management on a professional level, using good communication/interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills to be responsible for managing own workload
