Are you looking for a new challenge this year? If so, then we have a great opening for an Electrical Lead to join Turnbull and work on Europe's largest civil engineering project at Hinkley Point C. This role is 45 Hours, Monday to Friday.
What you'll do:
- Provide efficient electrical operation, maintenance, fault finding, diagnosis and repair of NNB Generation Company's utility assets including potable supply network, water management network, sewerage network, sewage treatment assets and communications.
- Maintain a level of 100% environmental permit compliance, zero serious pollution incidents, within contractual budget and with adherence to set KPIs.
- Provide supervisory (Black Hat) monitoring of the following:
- Providing a maintenance and repair function for the electrical assets for the dewatering network, treatment and all associated assets serving Hinkley Point C maximising all controllable factors to meet external quality targets.
- Responsibility for the team to ensure relevant KPI and SLA targets are achieved.
- Maintaining a culture of behavioural awareness to safety and reduce accidents/incidents protecting workforce from injury and company from prosecution.
- Supporting improvements in team productivity to make the most of resources and being able to show value to the client.
- Implementing efficiencies and innovations in operations to provide cost savings to the client where applicable.
- Ensuring good liaison with NNB stakeholders – Site Operations, Environmental, Security, Construction Delivery Leads, Site Engineers, promoting a consistent approach.
- Providing technical advice and swift resolution of any identified problems.
- Supervising third party contractor work.
