About the Role

Our client, a busy and well-established automotive accident repair bodyshop, is looking for an experienced Paint Prepper / Vehicle Prepper to join their team in Raydon. This is a great opportunity for a skilled bodyshop prepper / paint technician assistant / vehicle preparation technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality preparation work ahead of refinishing. You will be working in a fast-paced bodyshop environment, preparing vehicles for paint and ensuring all surfaces are finished to a high standard ready for the vehicle paint sprayer / paint technician.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare vehicles for paint refinishing and spraying
  • Carry out masking, sanding, priming, and filler work
  • Ensure all surfaces are clean, smooth, and ready for paint application
  • Assist paint technicians in maintaining workflow within the bodyshop paint department
  • Carry out minor cosmetic corrections where required
