I require an experienced Commercial Manager to join an established business working in the engineering sector on high profile projects. My client ideally wants someone to come on board and take a top spot within a division managing a small commercial team on high profile MEP projects. This role would suit anyone who has managed a team of quantity surveyors (2/3) and has covered some of the duties below.

Based from their office in Central London your key accountabilities would be:

  • Accountability for driving clear strategy on operational delivery, customer engagement, commercial excellence and maintaining the clients status on the framework.
  • People training, succession and development.
  • Using sound management skills to deliver multiple and complex commitment and objectives and consistently use financial levers to grow profitability for the portfolio and business unit.
  • Actively engage with all internal and external stakeholders adapting personal style to suit the needs of individuals and the team.
  • Regularly review, provide guidance and challenge on strategic (project) and business unit objectives.
  • Ensure that the commercial function within the business unit effectively supports the operational teams.
