Vehicle Technician Hitchin
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Bonus (DOE & Qualifications)
Working Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 5:30pm and Friday 7:30am - 2:45pm
HP4 Recruitment are working with a busy and well-established workshop in Hitchin, looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic / Diagnostic Technician / Service Technician to join their team. This role offers excellent earning potential, a strong work-life balance, and no weekend work. You'll be carrying out a wide range of mechanical and diagnostic duties in a professional environment.
- Servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Dealer level diagnostics and fault finding
- Engine rebuilds and gearbox rebuilds
- Suspension overhaul and 4-wheel alignment
- Pre-purchase inspections and borescope checks
- IMS upgrades, air-con regas and tyre fitting
- Key coding and electrical repairs
- Bodywork, alloy and headlamp refurbishment
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualified in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
- Strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
