We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a busy and fast‑paced workshop based in Rotherham. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a stable, long‑term role with overtime available. This role is ideal for someone confident in diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs, who can hit the ground running in a professional workshop environment.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
  • Every other Saturday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • Overtime available

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles
  • Diagnosing faults and identifying appropriate repair solutions
  • Completing mechanical work to a high standard
  • Ensuring all work meets manufacturer and safety standards
  • Maintaining accurate job records and documentation
  • Supporting the workshop team during busy periods

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician
  • Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
  • Experience in a workshop or dealership environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, efficient and quality‑focused
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • Right to work in the UK
