Cold Meece, StaffordshireSalary: £15.50 per hourJob Type: PermanentOur client is looking for an experienced Vehicle Polisher / Automotive Polisher to join their busy team in Cold Meece .This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vehicle polisher with a strong eye for detail and a passion for producing high-quality finishes. You will be working on a range of vehicles, carrying out polishing and finishing work to a high standard.
The Role
As a Vehicle Polisher , you will be responsible for preparing and polishing vehicle bodywork, ensuring vehicles are finished to a high-quality standard.
Your duties will include: Carrying out vehicle polishing and paint polishingMachine polishing and cutting vehicle paintworkRemoving scratches, swirls, imperfections and paint defectsCarrying out paint correction and finishing workPreparing vehicle bodywork for final finishUsing polishing machines, compounds and other detailing equipmentInspecting finished work to ensure a high-quality finishWorking alongside vehicle technicians, bodyshop technicians and paint sprayersMaintaining a clean and organised working areaFollowing company health and safety proceduresAbout You The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Vehicle Polisher, Car Polisher, Automotive Polisher, Paint Polisher, Vehicle Detailer or Bodyshop Polisher .You should have: Previous professional vehicle polishing experienceExperience using machine polishers and polishing equipmentStrong attention to detailGood knowledge of vehicle paintwork and finishesThe ability to identify and correct paint imperfectionsA high standard of workmanshipA reliable and hardworking attitudeThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamExperience within a bodyshop, vehicle dealership, automotive repair centre, vehicle refurbishment or automotive manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
