Job Title: MET / Panel Technician

About the Role
Our client is a well-established automotive business with a busy bodyshop in Falkirk, and they are currently looking for an experienced MET / Panel Technician to join their growing team.
This role will involve carrying out a combination of mechanical, electrical and trim (MET) work alongside vehicle body and panel repairs , helping to return accident-damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MET and panel repairs on a range of accident-damaged vehicles
- Remove and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components
- Repair, replace and align damaged body panels
- Carry out stripping and refitting work as required
- Assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair methods
- Carry out welding and structural repairs where required
- Work closely with other bodyshop technicians throughout the repair process
- Ensure all repairs are completed safely and to a high standard
- Complete repairs in line with manufacturer and industry standards
- Accurately complete job cards and repair documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience as an MET Technician, Panel Technician, Panel Beater or Bodyshop Technician
- Experience across both MET and panel repair work
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques
- Experience working with accident-damaged vehicles
- Good understanding of vehicle structures and repair methods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant automotive/bodyshop qualifications are preferred
- Full UK Driving Licence
