HP4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Paint Prepper / Car Prepper / Paint Technician / Bodyshop Prepper to join a busy and fast-paced bodyshop in Bedford. This is a temp to perm opportunity, offering a 6-month contract with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare vehicles for paint including sanding, masking, filling, and priming
- Carry out paint preparation and panel preparation to a high standard
- Ensure surfaces are ready for spray painting / refinishing
- Identify and rectify minor defects prior to painting
- Work efficiently to meet bodyshop deadlines and targets
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Prepper / Paint Prepper / Bodyshop Prepper
- Strong skills in sanding, masking, and paint preparation
- Experience working in a bodyshop, accident repair centre, or automotive workshop
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- £17.50 per hour
- 6-month contract with genuine temp to perm opportunity
