We are seeking a Security Systems Design Architect to join our Design Development team. You will be responsible for designing and optimising CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems across commercial and residential projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security design, experience with CAD/BIM tools, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant, high-quality solutions that meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop security system designs, including CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems.
  • Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD/BIM drawings for security installations.
  • Conduct site surveys and produce layouts, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to integrate security systems.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Provide design support for tendering, project delivery, and commissioning.
  • Review and update drawings to reflect changes throughout project lifecycles.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of security systems architecture, CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems.
  • Proficient in CAD and/or BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Awareness of industry standards, codes, and security best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience in security system design (CCTV, access control, intrusion systems).
  • Proficient in CAD/BIM design tools.
  • Experience collaborating with architects, engineers, or project teams.

Desirable:

  • Background in commercial or residential smart building projects.
  • Knowledge of integrated security solutions and IoT-enabled security systems.
