The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Security Project Manager to join a well-established and growing security systems business delivering projects across commercial sites in Newcastle and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of commercial projects, our client is looking for a driven and organised Project Manager with experience overseeing the delivery of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm installations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced security professional seeking a long-term contract role with a reputable company and consistent project work.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Managing the delivery of electronic security projects across commercial sites
  • Overseeing CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm installations from initiation through to completion
  • Coordinating engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Managing site progress, health & safety, and quality standards
  • Attending client meetings and maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle
  • Producing and managing project documentation, reports, and schedules
  • Ensuring compliance with industry and site regulations
  • Supporting commissioning and handover processes where required

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Security Project Manager within the electronic security industry
  • Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems
  • Experience managing commercial security installation projects
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations on commercial sites
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Qualifications (Not Essential)

  • CSCS / ECS Card
  • SMSTS or SSSTS
  • FIA qualifications
  • Prince2 or equivalent project management certification
  • Experience working with leading security system manufacturers
