The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Security Project Manager to join a well-established and growing security systems business delivering projects across commercial sites in Newcastle and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of commercial projects, our client is looking for a driven and organised Project Manager with experience overseeing the delivery of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm installations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced security professional seeking a long-term contract role with a reputable company and consistent project work.
Role & Responsibilities
- Managing the delivery of electronic security projects across commercial sites
- Overseeing CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm installations from initiation through to completion
- Coordinating engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Managing site progress, health & safety, and quality standards
- Attending client meetings and maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Producing and managing project documentation, reports, and schedules
- Ensuring compliance with industry and site regulations
- Supporting commissioning and handover processes where required
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Security Project Manager within the electronic security industry
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems
- Experience managing commercial security installation projects
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations on commercial sites
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable Qualifications (Not Essential)
- CSCS / ECS Card
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- FIA qualifications
- Prince2 or equivalent project management certification
- Experience working with leading security system manufacturers
