We are seeking an experienced Security Installation Engineer to join our growing team, covering the Greater Manchester area. You will be responsible for installing and commissioning high-end electronic security systems across commercial, industrial, and high-spec residential sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer with solid IP knowledge and a passion for working with cutting-edge security technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and Intercom Systems
- Work with IP-based systems, including configuration, networking, and integration
- Liaise with clients and project managers to ensure installations meet specification and quality standards
- Maintain documentation and complete handover processes
- Diagnose faults and carry out corrective action during commissioning
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a Security Installation Engineer
- Strong knowledge of IP networking and IP CCTV systems (e.g., Avigilon, Hikvision, Axis)
- Experience working on high-end, integrated security systems
- Competent with access control platforms (e.g., Paxton, Lenel, Gallagher)
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region
Desirable
- ECS/CSCS Card
- Manufacturer training or certifications
- Knowledge of network switches, VLANs, and PoE
