Enterprise Security Systems Engineer (Project Engineer Orientated)

Location: Cambridge (On-site, with potential for hybrid working)

Salary: Circa £50,000 – £55,000 + Travel Package / Vehicle Allowance (Negotiable)

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Enterprise Security installer, who are looking for a candidate based in the Cambridge area.

This role is for an experienced Systems Engineer to take full ownership of a fully integrated security system (Lenel-based).

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled engineer with a project-focused mindset to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Full systems ownership of Lenel-based platforms.
  • Commissioning, configuration, and system integration.
  • Break/fix support and reactive maintenance.
  • Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and head-end verification.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure smooth system delivery and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Systems or Project Engineer within a similar technical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lenel or comparable access control/security systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, commissioning, and configuration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take full system ownership.
  • Strong communication and client engagement skills.
